A small but charming sketchbook ready to go for your sketchventures. Made using Heritage 315 gsm paper, it takes pencil, pen and ink well, but experiment with mediums and don’t be afraid to try something new - every mark is a lesson learnt.
Totalling 82 pages and bound using Atlantic Bookcloth, a lovely 100% cotton bookcloth that results in a classy, tactile finish to the touch. Using Rust Colourplan 175gsm for the endpapers and finished off with headbands made using the same bookcloth with a leather core.
There are only six books available of this Run and consist of my first batch of books to be made available on Rude Boi Books, so thank you for your purchase and feel free to be smug at buying in early to the bookbinding sensation sweeping the nation!
Bookcare:
A few tips and heads up about the book you are buying;
. The pages have a natural spring to them when closed this is due to the paper used (being offcuts from a massive roll, waste not want not). This can be seen in the photos.
. This cloth will wear with time especially around the edges going to a muted white. If you want to refresh the finish, I'd recommend a chalk pastel of a similar colour and running it along the effected edge then wiping the excess off with a cloth. Feel free to leave it as is, however, I find that it adds a nice contrast.
. Finally remember this is your book, and there is no wrong way to use it!!!
